Every time I go hiking, whether a day trip, a short one hour hike or an overnighter, I alway carry my pack. In my pack I have everything I need for just about any situation. Sure, during a one hour short hike I probably won’t need my snake bite kite, but then again it’s possible. I could sit, go over my entire pack and come up with justifiable reasons to eliminate certain items based on the kind of hike I’m taking. However, I just can’t do it. In my mind I need every item to in my pack ready to use any time if and when needed.
Last week at New Life, our pastor went through twenty verses with ten words or less. Powerful verses packed with everything we need to be equipped for our life each day.
The following are only twenty of the over 31,103 in the entire bible.
God tells us that; ALL Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. – 2 Timothy 3:16
So as you go through your pack, the one you carry through life with all the things essentials, I encourage you to keep these twenty in a side pocket or on the top of your pack for quick easy reference.
