When I’m out on a hike, backpacking or camping I enjoy taking pictures of the landscape and nature. I have a goal to one day travel to Glacier National, hike it and take pictures. However, according to BIG government, I might not be permitted to take pictures of a national forest. From what I’ve read, this rule, if it passes, will not apply to the everyday person using the pictures for memories. But the questions begs to answer, how will the federal government monitor who’s taking pictures for personal or commercial use.

The Forest Service oversees 193 million acres of wilderness. In a month, you won’t be able to take a picture in them without getting a fine — even if the new rules are unconstitutional.
